CHOReOS – FP7 ICT Call 5
Large Scale Choreographies for the Future Internet

Project Highlights

  • FP7 Seventh Framework Programme Objective: Internet of Services, Software and Virtualization (1.2)
  • Duration: October 2010 - September 2013
  • Total cost:  € 8.665.785
  • Eu Funding: € 6.384.089
  • Project web site: http://www.choreos.eu/

Project Goals

  • Sustaining decentralized sevice choreographies in the Future Internet
  • Revisiting the concept of choreography-centric service-oriented systems to introduce a dynamic development process   and associated methods, tools, and middleware for the software systems that implement and coordinate the services in the Ultra Large Scale Future Internet
  • Leveraging existing SOA standards, while making coreography development a fully dynamic, scalable and domain-expert centric process.

CEFRIEL contribution

  • Identification of reference components of the architecture
  • Design of simulation tools to allow the analysis of scalability for adaptable QoS-aware ULS choreographies
  • Investigation of new strategies and frameworks to be applied at run-time for verification and validation of services playing a role within a choreography
  • Specification and implementation of WP7 use cases.
  • Dissemination and technical assessment of Choreos achievements
